Wonga.com refreshes identity


Soon after Wonga launched in London the company I worked for, Wyldeone, was tasked to design a joint branding for financial instruments which E1 Commercial Finance and Wonga had devised. This fusion ID was only for below the line (html email, direct mail) and a challenge was that we were not to alter the Wonga.com logo in any form, although we were given complete freedom to use the E1 identity in any required. The results are elsewhere in this site for you to judge.

I am glad to see that StartJG got a freer hand to modernise and soften the look.Its ironic I feel that StartJG are based at the corner of Redchurch St, in the Tea building around the corner from where we were located.
